Artist Sean Dye Critiques at The Arts Center at Old Forge

Sean Dye The Arts Center invited award winning artist Sean Dye to lead a Gallery Walkabout the morning after the opening reception of the 6th Annual Northeast National Pastel Exhibition. The event featured a breakfast and a group discussion of the works Sean had chosen to talk about. Ed's painting, "Rainy Afternoon" was one of the works featured. Sean mentioned how the varying types of strokes Ed used in the painting and the limited color palette support the mood and atmosphere the work is trying to achieve. He went on to say that the title is quite suitable and is accurately depicted in the painting. This exhibition concludes on July 10, 2010.
